Sand City Seawater Intrusion

Derrik Williams was retained to develop a model of the extraction and disposal injection of brackish water beneath the Sand City beach for a desalination plant.  The model helped determine the location of the extraction wells and injection wells such that the marine environment and source water quality were not impacted.  The model will help estimate the water quality of the source water so the desalination plant can be designed for the anticipated water quality.
