As part of investigations in advance of design for the ASR program in the Seaside Basin, HydroMetrics LLC evaluated the availability of storage space and the impact of injection on local groundwater levels. Injection tests were analyzed to estimate aquifer parameters and injection simulations were tested with an analytical model based on those parameters and a numerical model calibrated to the injection tests. The results suggested that the Seaside Basin has adequate storage for the planned ASR.
